A380 Emirates and Air France Autopilot

Thanks to forum members I'm loving the A380 however, the AP button does not want to operate. Maybe I need to hit something else first? Can set speeds, alt and heading but it will not activate

Well I found a fix for the above by detective work..... noticed that I couldn't get the AP to work on some other jets also which were formely fine, so on my Embraer 190 I noticed that the avionics switch was not on. Switched it on and amazingly that had a knock on effect to the other jets incl. the A380 and now the AP's work fine!! Explain that! Could not find an avionics switch on the A380.... do we have one? The mysteries of FltSim continue to amaze me

Like many VC's -- you may find you have to make certain adjustments in the 2d panel (press F10 for 2d panel, F9 for VC)
In this A380 you can control the AP in the 2d panel.
