So ive started a world tour trip

Postby michaelb15 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 2:15 pm

well ive started in rome and ive been flying around africa, and so far ive just been using a cessna 310 that I really enjoy. im about 25 hours into the trip flying around the content of africa, and im kind of dissapointed by the defualt scenery..

Is there any reccomendations for this part of the globe? ive seen a few things but they are only for small parts, at most maybe a country or 2, but I would really like to replace all the textures, because they seem very generic, and not too great.

Btw I should have some screenies to show sometime.. ive been taking them but I need to transfer them to a computer with internet.
I am somwhere I don't know where I am!!!

Here's a list of some add-ons that might help. Also, look for add-ons with FSXWORX in the file name, there's quite a few and their South Africa sets are very nice.

Also, type in Africa or South Africa in the search section here at the Vee

You may also google SceneryTech or GEX Africa.

SceneryTech is very cheap & the download very small. It covers the entire African continent and looks much better then the default.

GEX Africa is a large download, more expensive but much better product to transfer Africa.

Goodluck.

You should try Real Environment Xtreme. I don't have it but it looks good. Especially If you are doing a world tour. And it isn't that expensive. But it is a very big download. And there is also Rex Overdrive which is free if you have already bought it but it's a HUGE download at 10 gb :o :o :)
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
