According to the read me....."This airplane's panel is for FSX Deluxe Edition ONLY"

Seems like the model itself should work without deluxe :)

hmm must be somthing wrong with me.. even though the files are installed properly to the best of my knoledge its not showing in the menu

actually this isnt the only plane this has occured with..

is there such a program that can scan my fs planes folder and point out/remove/fix the files that are not showing properly. thers at least 10 planes installed in the aircrafts folder that dont show in the menu.

Look closely at the names of your aircraft and make sure that all the names line up with the correct image. This download does not include a thumbnail pic....so FSX sometimes won't display the aircraft even though it's there. If this is the case, simply choose the plane when you find it, take a screenshot of it, then size it and rename it "thumbnail". Then insert it into the aircraft's texture folder. It should display properly if you do this :)

Hope this helps...

If they show up with a ? mark....then you're not suffering from the problem I described......sorry :-/

I'm sure that someone else will have the answer :)

You beat me this time Chuck79!  Word for word what I was going to suggest. :P

Another way to grab a thumbnail is to copy the thumbnail from the download page and paste it into the texture folder, and rename it "Thumbnail". Saves lots of time. ;)

aha! i found out why it wasnt showing up. the folder that goes in the ac folder had a exclamation mark (!) in the name like "!stealt30"  so i took out the exclamation mark and now it runs perfectly. I just have to alais a panel to it

The "!" point should not have cause the aircraft to not show.  I left it on the folder I installed, and it shwoed.  But whatever works! :)

I think what happened is this:
The aircraft did not show because the panel was not compatible with your version of FSX. So, when you aliased a new panel to the aircraft it caused it to show up.

I don't know why I didn't think of it before........the plane won't show up if it doesn't have a panel ;) ;D
