How ya doing Yancovitch.
Whats happening is this,
in the aircraft.cfg file you have this:

[fltsim.0]
title=[glow=yellow,2,300]Cessna Skyhawk 172SP Paint1[/glow]
sim=Cessna172SP
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
kb_checklists=Cessna172SP_check
kb_reference=Cessna172SP_ref
atc_id=G-BAFM
ui_manufacturer="Cessna"
ui_type="C172SP Skyhawk"
ui_variation=" Blue, Gold"
ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"

fltsim.1
title=[glow=yellow,2,300]Cessna Skyhawk 172SP Paint2[/glow]
sim=Cessna172SP
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=2
kb_checklists=Cessna172SP_check
kb_reference=Cessna172SP_ref
atc_id=HB-MES
ui_manufacturer="Cessna"
ui_type="C172SP Skyhawk"
ui_variation=" White,Green"
ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"

So say you downloaded another Cessna Skyhawk
172SP [glow=yellow,2,300]Paint1[/glow], you would have to change the [glow=yellow,2,300]title[/glow] to something diffrent such as [glow=yellow,2,300]Paint3[/glow] and if it's a standalone in it's own folder, that's all you have to do.

But if it's a texture that your adding to your 172SP, just make sure it has it's own title and all you have to do is make sure you add it in by putting in the next fltsim.#:

[glow=yellow,2,300][fltsim.2][/glow]
[glow=yellow,2,300]title=Cessna Skyhawk 172SP TEXTURE add-on[/glow]
sim=Cessna172SP
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=3
kb_checklists=Cessna172SP_check
kb_reference=Cessna172SP_ref
atc_id=N176CM
atc_id_color=0xffffffff
ui_manufacturer="Cessna"
ui_type="C172SP Skyhawk"
ui_variation=" Orange, Black"
ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"

That's all there is to it! :)

Have you checked thru the ..\simobjects\airplanes\ folder to see if you have (or had) multiple installs of the same aircraft? (same aircraft with different folder names)

[quote]i removed them from sim until fix.....

Hi,

I see no title duplicates in the data you submitted.
Try this. Go to the FSX.cfg file in your AppData and check the [Main] section.

I don't see a problem with the maules.

And I'm not sure if the (parentheses) in the raptor titles makes a difference.

I'd try letting your pc do a search to see if theres duplicates somewere.

If nothing comes up, try doing the ol Let the sim write a new fsx.cfg file trick.

If that don't work, I'd delete the offending aircraft
(as far as the maules go) you can use the repair option to have them replaced.

and the raptors are addons so  I'd just reinstall them with a fresh download. Goodluck!
