Catapult speed

Of the five default carrier aircraft in my FD6 four are unable to gain enough catapult speed to get airborne. Only the F18C can successfully get airborne. Is there an adjustment I can make in the aircraft .cfg or is this an Abacus xwirex problem? The F18C cannot get enough speed and so it falls into the drink however I decided to replace the aircraft in the mission [sim=0] with an add on "F14d Tomcat "Blue Angel" and had no problem getting airborne. What gives?

Just get acceleration then all your problems will be solved. But even in acceleration its not adjustable, its set up for the default f18.

I'm fairly certain if you start changing aircraft in the missions it won't award you that mission if you complete it, why change it?

Don't put full flaps on, if you put on full afterburner as well, are you still having trouble getting up to speed?

I've got FSX Acceleration. Seems like none of you have been experiencing problems with the Abacus FD6 xwirex. I've replaced a few of the Abacus default aircraft and so far so good. For example I've replaced the F18E with an add-on F14 Tomcat, replaced a C-2A with the "First Mate" (F4U Corsair) and lastly replaced an F18C with an S-3B Viking. All the changes worked well. So I'm not enjoying tweaking with the FD6, I just want to be able to use the game. By the way do you have FD6 installed in your PC? If you do, have you experienced any problems with the game particularly ones which involve carrier take offs? I'm not concerned about the "rewards". All I want is to be able to play the game as expected.
