Hello all

open flight planer
departure from the Soekarno Hatta
Changi Airport arrival

That I get a problem like section headings.
ATC always said flew in the direction 270 degrees
but in a written log of GPS and nav 290 degrees.

when I change my plane heading towards 290
ATC always say please expidete to 270 ...

but is actually 290 degrees

Just keep flying in the direction ATC tells you to fly until they say "resume own navigation". At that point, follow your GPS route.

i never have problems with ATC, as i never contact them to begin with. ... I am my own pilot, i know where I am going, I know how to fly (at least in a sim) and I have eyes to see what is going on around me.  Why do I need some idiot sitting behind another computer telling me how to get where I am going when I have the GPS system, Charts, a compass, and a stopwatch????????

If ATC directs to you to fly Heading 270, fly that heading. Does ATC give you any further directions after that to point you in the direction that YOU want to go??

if you do what they want you to do, .. fly heading 270.. after a while do they say "Resume Own Navigation"?

I have NEVER had ATC not tell me what to do when i was using it. If you follow what they want for a prescribed amount of time, and you are flying IFR or VFR, they will tell you "resume own navigation" which means they are turning control of your flight plan over to you to figure out how to get to where you want to go.

You made the flight plan, you have the charts, compass, stopwatch, and GPS, ... your a pilot, you should be able to figure out how to get back on course and to your destination without their help.

On the other hand, when I am about to reach my destination, I have had ATC tell me "turn (heading), expect vectors to final." ...... "XXXXX You are clear to land RWY XX" ............ um OK, where the @#$% were my vectors that I was expecting to get from ATC??

This is why i pretty much give up on using ATC; that and them giving me 10 go-arounds when there is absolutely no AI anywhere close to me because I have AI TURNED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!
