Inputing VOR Frequency on DC3

Hope someone can help me. I've been trying to fly some of the 3rd party missions (Land of Giants) specifically, using a DC3 or C-47 and it requires to input VOR 114 in order to zero in on the final destination. I've tried inputing the frequency using the knob on the upper left (and others) and while in flight I do get the Morse code sound but the needle on the indicator gauge doen't do anything, it does not point to where the Vor signal is located.
What am I doing wrong, I've tried reading the manuals and various posts, but no luck.
Hope someone can help, please.
Haven't flown the sim in a very long time (not enough horse power to run it) but with the new rig I have, this simulator is fantastic, so much better than FS9. Finally, I don't have to worry about FPS for now. Good flying to all!

Assuming you're tuning nav1.....

In the bottom center of the radio panel are 3 toggle switches. These are input selectors.

The 1st one (red lables) is the input selector for the red needle on the Dual Needle RMI. Switch it to NAV1.

If you're tuning nav2, use the second (green lables) toggle.

Thanks much for the tip. Unfortunately, for some odd reason the needle (either one) points to one direction, but as you turn the airplane toward that heading, the needle stays put, it doesn't move at all, I've tried all kind of settings and none worked, perhaps I have a wrong installation of the Mission files and that is the cause for the malfunction, go figure!
Appreciate your response very much nonetheless.

Talking about the Devil. Just found a great instructional video in Youtube on how to set the radio stack on the DC3 in FSX, if anyone out there needs help, this is the link:

Walter, it's not a malfunction.

When indicating a VOR, the needle does not point to the direction relative to your aircraft as an NDB does.

It indicates the bearing of the VOR (To) radial you are on or crossing. It will not swing as you turn. Rather, it will move as you fly across the radials to indicate the radial you are currently crossing.

To fly direct to the VOR from your current position just turn to the heading indicated by the needle and track the radial.

To make it easier to track (or intercept) a VOR radial or ILS set the desired radial bearing on the RMI's card and the needle will be your CDI.
