747 internal views (and others)

I want to add additional internal views to some of my panels for use in FSX. There was a very good 747 panel for FS9 years ago called 'Supreme Boeing 747-200 Panel' (kment747.zip) that had additional views available only from Luis, and contained 'switches' for turning extra views on and off. If you have the 'extra' views files I would appreciate it if you could send them to me. Alternatively, can anybody tell me how to add the 'switches' to an existing panel. There are literally tons of internal shots at 'airliners.net' and it's a huge shame not to make use of them. Thanks all.

Hi

There are quite a few 747's with internal views for the 2d panel. So if you say what version of the 747 you are working on I can probably find you some internal 2d panel views.

However these are simply images and you cannot add switches to interal view bitmaps.

You can add switches to a 2d panel if you have fs panel editor or you could copy the switch from another panel and paste it into your panel cfg. You will also have to copy the 'switch' (which is a gauge) into your panel folder.

Hope that helps  8-)

I don't have fs panel editor but that is something I will look at. The 'kment747.zip' and its addon kit had a series of internal views which were bitmaps but the switches were embeded in the actual views somehow. You say that the switches are gauges which is something else I didn't know, so thanks for all your help. Has anybody else had success in this area or done similar with internal views?
