I replaced my attack3 joystick with an  Extreme 3D pro, it has the "Twist" grip for rudder control, However, when on the hard, twisting the grip works the rudder fine, although at the same time the nose wheel turns, the rudder function does not appear to work when in flight, somebody please tell where Ive gone wrong in my setup   Cheers

Make sure Autorudder is disabled from FSX Realism settings.
