I downloaded the aircraft from your link..
The problem is the missing (payware) gauge file as discussed in this previous post-
http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1293834296I don't know if there was ever a fix published.

thank you for trying to help with my problem. I was thinking that it was caused by the .gau files not able to be read by fsx. If there is no fix for that problem, how can i change it with the default 747 panel. I tried replacing it with the panel folder but the vc is not working. Any thing I miss? and the link you posted said something about the original posky panel, where is it?

when you tried to use the Default 747 Panel folder, did you delete the Panel folder for the POSKY that you are trying to use first? I have ported a lot of Panels over in FSX with no problem as long as you rename/totally delete the original panel from your aircraft that is getting the new panel.

Yes, I renamed it to panel1 and it worked for the 2d panel but not with the virtual cockpit.

try completely deleting "Panel1" folder, and copy paste the entire panel folder for the 747. I suspect that somehow it is still trying to read the vc from Panel1.

Well, I just moved the panel of the 777 to desktop, Im presuming it will yield the same result as deleting it and this is what happens

The vc panel isn't going to work as the vc panel must fit the mapping of the vc model. This 777 has incorporated an interior model along with the other aspects (gauges and textures) from the payware AeroSim 777. Downloading one of the other 'true' Posky 777's might be a more ethical choice.
I tried a couple of the modified Posky panels without success, as they don't fit this model either.
If you're intent on getting this 777 to work I have fit the default 737 interior model and panel to it. I used the 737 as it is 2 engine, rather than the 4 engine 747.
I you like I can pm the instructions to you.

I managed to think of a solution in order to make the 747 vc work with it, but I need your advise if its correct. In the texture folder there are some files for the panel. If I copy that to the 777 texture, the vc will work right? I would love to know how you do it. Thank you

Textures, like the panel.cfg's vc gauges, are layed out to fit a specific model. So that won't work.
I'm busy right now, but in an hour or so I'll send you a pm with instructions.

Thank you for helping me in advance, I will be waiting for your pm
What is .gau files? Where do I place them or what to do to that files? It seems that all my problematic aircraft have one or more of that files

This has always been a problem when trying to use the Posky 777 in FSX. It technically is not made for FSX... but things can be done to make it work. I suggest you click on this link,
http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... 77&x=0&y=0and download either the United old colors, or United new colors 777 by Rob Meador. Both of those packages are all inclusive, with a full working VC. It includes all the XML gauges, the original FS9 777-300.gau file, and more. Install that 777, and take the needed files to install in your current 777.

.gau simply is a file that only Flight Sim can read. (as far as I know). any file that ends in .GAU should go to your FSX/GAUGES folder to be read. Some people do have a gauges folder inside their aircraft folder, but I have yet to figure out how FS can read it from either location.
