I use to get this alot more than before but I did a fix with a fix with the file UIAutomationCore.dll and put that in my FSX directory but now I still have the same problem. Not as much but about every 3-5 flights it'll happen to me.

Anyone else have this problem and a fix?

Thanks,

im getting the same things too... FSX is not responding. I just hit the WAIT FOR PROGRAM TO RESUME. sometimes i hit the QUIT PROGRAM and just restart it.

it has something to do with one or more specific services that are running in the background, but i have not narrowed it down to which one yet.... im still looking.

anyone else have any ideas???

I have the same, but it's very rare.  FSX also occasionally will freeze during startup, and th "conflict' called out is FSRecorder.  I suspect that may be my culprit, since I also occasionally get a freeze and die when selecting a recorded flight to replay.

I was going strong without getting it but then it started to get annoying when my VA flight would get cancelled cause fspassengers doesnt have like a resume. I was reading up and it says the windows 7 isnt fully compatible with FSX?  :(...

I dont know but usually its just a hope nothing happens type of situation in my flights.

What does your event log say the reason is?

I've had two crashes with fsx still running in the background, one each on two computers.
One running Win 7 64bit and other on Xp home sp3.
In both cases I was on the same mission - rhino rescue - but at different stages.
Both times I clicked on the FSX on the status bar and they both resumed, I didn't check any further.
One was last Fri, the 1st and the other was 2nd april.

I'm wondering? have we all done an update in windows that has caused it rather than an addon, personally I haven't added anything recently and fsx had been running fine, I didn't try fs9 -

being that all of this has seemed to have started around APRIL 1ST... maybe Micro$oft put out a tiny 5kb update for us and we all fell for the APRIL FOOLS JOKE...

Micro$oft: "you can still play your FSX... APRIL FOOLS"
