The title says it all. I want to get start makeing and painting aircraft were do I start?

i was about to suggest the Repaint Forums, but being that noone has posted yet, there are a few programs that you need.

DXTbmp editor http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia ... TBmp.shtml

gimp (photo editing software) http://www.gimp.org/

Adobe photoshop (payware)

MSPAINT (standard in all Windows versions)

and an imagination.


These will get you started.

Alright thanks. the reasone I ask is because I am in the process of starting a va so I will need a fleet.

but then agine I prbibly should use aircraft that are alredy made and just repaint them. what do you think guys?

start with ones that are already made, which by now is almost all of them.  find it, load up the textures in DXTBMP and then save/paint/save/load/save/fly.
