FSX not enough memory?
Well I finally got my system to run good graphics. After showing my specs on here and comparing my computer to a friends (where his runs FSX great) and my computer is exceptionally better I still have a problem.
Ive mostly flown KOAK-KLAX routes. Ive flown with the default 737 awhile, ive expierenced so many problems with FSX that I rarely have time for fun with it anymore. I had to update the new problem as for it crashing in Windows 7...
But now I have a new problem. Its a weird one but very very VERY frustrating. I bought my level-d 767 today. Decided to do one of my popular FS9 routes--KOAK-KLAX which is a fast route. Ive mostly only flown this route. So the whole flight goes fine and its running great but when im coming in for my approach on 25R in LAX which would not be going over the water I get an error message.
FSX ran out of avaliable memory, please restart FSX and lower the settings...
I used that one guys fsx.cfg update to make my computer run better, but my specs are great so I dont know why it would say this. I even checked the available memory and I had 1.64 gb of memory left. This is the second time its done this and not only that when you start your approach in to land the games graphics go from great to HORRIBLE then the cockpit freezes and such...
The ironic part is that when I landed at LAX yesterday on runway 6L or something coming in from the water, it was GREAT no lag or nothing.
Ive turned the settings down a bit but like ive said in my other post last week, I have a great gaming computer. No its not $2000 but I dont need one of those computers either. I dont understand why my computer cant run this game good and all other games GREAT. The worst part is knowing people out there and looking at there specs and mine kills theirs but yet runs this game horribly.
I really hope you wont say I need more RAM...I have 4GB right now, running Windows 7 64bit
