Finally able to run FSX
Well guys after finally receiving the promotion to a new job and the raise (not to mention the headaches) that go with it I decided that for christmas I would get myself a new desktop system that would be capable of flying fsx fairly well.
after some searching I ended up with a realy nice I7 4GHZ unlocked processor (with liquid cooling system) paired with an extremely overclocking friendly motherboard, 12GB ddr3 ram, (2) MSI nvidia 450N Overclocked edition gfx cards, a 850W thermal take power supply, sony blu ray burnerand 2 2tb drives.
with fsx installed and all sliders maxed out I can still fly smoothly most of the time. I am planning on taking some time and following NickN's tutorials on how to setup your pc and flight simulator to get the most out of it in the coming weeks...
But it sure is nice to finally be able to play a game I bought many years ago!
