install issues

I attempted to install FSX on a new system, it threw an error stating that it had been installed too many times.

If it wasn't for FSX being such a resource sucking pig, I would have not need to build a new system...lol

  Suggestions ?

Yeah,  it's like installing XP or Vista etc. You only get so many FSX automatic activations before you have activate it by telephone.
Be prepared to speak to a service rep from India who will walk you through the activation. ;)

A real  PITA but, it's become a fact of life.

I went through the same issue before. As said above you have to walk to the Microsoft Altar, kneel down and plead your case. The EULA from FSX explains that you may reinstall on the same hardware as you wish and you may transfer to new hardware (motherboard) one time.
(Correct me if I'm wrong) I am on my third mobo since and the call to M.S. usually works.

Thanks guys,

I tried again today and it installed....yea !

I am concerned that its sucking almost 2gb of
memory during play.  averaging about 60fps though.
