Error 1606

FSX including FSX Steam version.

Error 1606

I receive an error (1606 unable to locate network location) when trying to run repair off the CD. Anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it ?

Quick search on Google came up with this http://www.seasonsecurity.com/i-cant-un ... help-92080 seems to be a quite common fault.

Try the Microsoft site - they seem to have the answers to these numerical errors.

Hi, i recently recovered from the same problem. Just a heads up, (might not happen to you but) i got an error 1722 after that one. This occured at the very end of the installation. If this does happen look for my post that says error 1722. Good Luck.
