widow problem

I have had a couple of planes do this and have no idea how to fix it. I download the plane and everything works great except that you can't see out of the windows. It either shows nothing but the reflection of the seats or just black. I have looked around in the files expecting that it has something to do with reflection. but can;t find anything to monkey with that will fix it. It am not the guy who should be messing with the files as I know VERY little about tweaking them. But - I am trying to learn so if anyone has a suggestion, I am all ears. The file that this happened with today was a Socata TBM 700. A really great plane which I would love to keep in the stable. I just can't see out the windows. Thanks in advance.

Are the add-ons for FSX Acceleration?  I seem to recall that if the add-on is or acceleration, and you do not have acceleration installed, you have texture problems, and Out-the-window VC is one of them.  Ot something to that effect  I mught have it backwards. :P

Thanks for the reply. You might be on to something. I have acceleration but I am not sure if the add-on was for acceleration or not. That may well be the reason. I will check. Thanks!

As always - please be specific about the aircraft (exactly what file). That way someone can test and a solution can often be found.

This is a common problem with some FS9 aircraft in FSX. You might like to check out this thread. http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1251687115

Thanks guys. Hagar - I followed your link and there was a fix that worked great. I am also going to download the file so that I can fix others as the problem comes up. Thanks again.
