2004 KPWT scenery in FSX

My wonderful wife got me FSX Gold Edition for Yule. While the aircraft and graphics blow me away, I would love to have some of the scenery from FS2004, particularly KPWT (Bremerton National). Does anyone have any experience in getting the KPWT scenery file for 2004 to work in FSX? I have the Mark Smith 2004 scenery package and the FSX update by Nigel Grant. I have them installed and I can see all the cool buildings, BUT anytime I move aircraft around I get building crashes, even several hundred feet AGL. I DL an FSX package for KPWT, but it no where matches the beauty of the Mark Smith one.

I just tried it with the FSX update & get the same results as you. I can only suggest disabling crash detection from FSX Realism settings.

I guess that's one way to deal with it. LOL. Thanks, I'll give it a go.

If you use payware, you might also consider Orbx FTX NA Blue PNW, which includes a very nice version of Bremerton. Of course if you do buy it, you will like it so well you will also want their adjoining PFJ and NRM. FTX scenery is additctive and makes you want it for global. ::)

I don't have the cash flow to spend on add ons. So I'm stuck with the freeware. I may wind up having to get a second job to help pay some bills, so maybe I'll have some extra money, but by then I wouldn't have the time to do anything but work. LOL

Been there, done that. But I had no way of knowing and the suggestions I offered are good, if one can afford them. I was not able to do so until a few months ago and still have to watch it.

From some of the payware I've seen, I would love to get them, just out of my price range right now. I'm a very small business owner and just don't get much money.  :'( But things are improving, oh so slowly.
