atc question

hi guys i saw in a real flight that the atc is also saying when to slow down. for exemple: delta 236 reduce speed to 180 knots. how can i do that it gonna work in fsx cause right now its just say when to turn. sorry for my english and thanks guys

When you're up at cruising altitude, speed changes are rarely issued - usually a temporary change of heading will fulfill ATC's needs.  For arrivals into a busy airport, speed control is a must so that traffic arriving from many directions can be sequenced for approach.
