Lost all roads, I mean all!

I originally thought that my Gex N.A. update and my UTX USA had created a problem within UTX but after going on the GEX and the UTX forum I now realized I do not have roads anywhere in the world! What I have are faint indications of a road that many times are see through to earth textures,or something like that. Roads wil not appear with UTX enable or disabled.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do?  I used to have such beautiful roads.

Are your runways transparent as well? I had this same issue. Hit the 'alt' key while in flight, go to 'options, settings, display' and then go to scenery. Then make sure the 'Ground Detail Texures' box is checked. That may be your problem, but if that is not it, I don't know what to say.

Thanks for the response.  All of my runways and taxiways are fine.  I'll try your idea and see what happens. thanks. bob
