Hello Garry and Alex....

FS Panel Studio for FS 2004/FSX:

I have recently purchased it, after years of manually moving gauges around using the X,Y,xx.yy coordinates and modifying the panel.cfg file.
It really works like a charm!....
...the only thing is, it works on the 2D panel beautifully, and so far, but doesn't seem to enable the 3D Virtual Panel to be modified, which I imagine Alex is mostly working on?
As most of my interest is based on the 2D panel when flying, it doesn't really affect me, but I'm not sure about the 3D panel users... ::)...!

Garry: Have you had any luck in modifying the VC panel using the program?
It only seem to modify the 2D entries in the panel .cfg list
....(unless I'm missing something out).

Paul...G-BPLF..FS 2004.... 8-)...!

Buy it...you'll like it!... ;D...!

P.S. Dave Mergen designed a fantastic "Carburettor Heat Light" Gauge for my piston Props fitted with Carb heat controls....maybe he can do the same thing for a "Stall Warning" Gauge...Dave?... ;)...!

I did have to search a gauge script for that ,because Non of them works using the common "STALL WARNING ,bool" variable as they should .

Now I wonder why some of XML programmers are so jealous about they work, Even the Master and Warning Cautions are tough to make them work properly.they use like 20 diferent parameters so they will indicate if some parameters reach to certain point like

FSPS works just fine for editing already existing VC entries, although you can't load them until you've loaded one of the 2d panel windows first.

FSPS still won't allow the user to create a VC entry though. You have to create VC entries using notepad.exe first, then load it into FSPS for editing.

I've been using FSPS for years as a "pre-design tool" for generating the bitmaps used in Max/GMax to model the 3d cockpit...  8-)

My Panel Studio only opens with the 2D Panel.
As @Solid says; how do you get access to the 3D/VC Panel for editing?
I didn't think FSPS was programmed to modify the 3D/VC Panel?
(Modification to the 2D Panel don't appear automatically on the 3D/VC Panel...entries only appear in the 2D Panel.cfg file).

Paul...confused... ::)...!

FS Panel Studio works in the same way as CFfgEdit. Open the 2D panel of an aircraft with a VC. Then click Window on the menu bar. Select one of the VCockpit windows.

Also, don't forget to visit the home page for FSPS once every few months, so you can keep FSPS up-to-date with the FREE latest version, which is currently...

Version 1.2 Build 21603 dated Jan 11, 2010

It's not normally possible to add gauges to a VC. You're usually limited to swapping existing ones.
