trouble with downloads

hello all,

FNG with probably the most asked question here. I have downloaded several aircraft from this awesome site. Got them unzipped, placed them in the proper aircraft files, can pull up scene shots, gauge, etc. but FSX does not recognize their existence.  Any starting direction is greatly appreciated.

I don't understand the question.  How, step by step, are you installing the add-ons?

Hi, welcome to the forums.
If you say you can see the aircraft in the 'select aircraft' listing in FSX then please tell us exactly what aircraft you are about.

Hi Pete, you know how I nitpick at things there's a typo mistake in the install guide you've linked to.
Downoad instead of download
