Has anyone installed Windows 7 and FSX on the same Solid State Drive? I just purchased a 120 GB SSD which is in transit and curious how it will affect overall performance. I expect faster boot times but don't anticipate much improvement in FSX.

I installed FSX on a SSD and I had a dramatic improvement in the loading times and the general smoothness in flight.
My OS is still on another drive, though.

I got an OCZ 120GB SSD a month ago and cloned Win7hp (64) and FSX expansion. Have put pmdg 744 and vfr scenery SW and still run smoothly at 35fps with 25GB free on the drive. Try putting your OS and FSX on the SSD for best results, but if you need lots of add-ons - put FSX on a HDD and keep the os on C:\

Am still new at this myself, so don't be afraid to vary things and experiment for yourself. Good luck...
