Hi only just started play FSX again as be for it was slow due to graphics card but got a new and also managed to overclock pc :D

Any way here to the question.

Been playing now for about 2 weeks again but today for some reason when choosing the heading it use to go up by 1. Now for some reason it goes up by 5 if you press to go to head right 054 and you on 055 you try and go to 054 but instead of going up by 1 it goes to 45 as it goes up by 5. Why has it started doing this.
This is also same for the Altitude on autopilot.

Thanks for any help.

On some instruments (VOR, etc.) the heading knob provides different increments, depending where you place the cursor. I don't know if your heading selector is the same, but you might try picturing the heading selector (hopefully, it's a round knob) as being divided into four quadrants. Then see if the increments change depending on where you place the cursor when you click. Try clicking halfway between the 90, 180, 270, and 360 degree quadrant "boundaries." One side of the knob will probably increase the heading; the other side, decrease it.

Hope this works for you.

...another way: "CTR+SFT+H" and than + or - (heading right or left).
Btw: In some addon-planes GPS has giant-formates, must be toggled smaller,
rsp. entries replaced in panel-CFG.

you might have an outer and inner part to the control, one doing fine adjustment, the otehr is more course.
