The position of the 2D gauges and 2D switches in the virtual cockpit are defined in the [VCockpit*] parts of the panel.cfg of the plane. It works exactely like 2D panels: name of the gauge, X, Y, lentgh, height...

You cannot modify the 3D gauges or 3D switches, because they are part of the 3D model of the cockpit.

If I'm not mistaken, the VC is part of the model, and without the source code, and the appropriate 3D modeling software, you cannot modify the VC, except maybe the guages.

Yep. The VC is part of the model. You CANNOT change anything except the 2D gauges without the original source files.

8-)

What is it you want to do?

You can change or update gauges using FS Panel Studio.

Thanks guys....Yes I want to beef up a panel with some gauges. I know I will not be able to do anything with the 3D stuff. I do have FS Panel Studio but have not used it in many moons, will try tonight......Thanks again.
