Terrain elevation problems
In the past, with FS9, I had some anomalies after adding mesh. I added 10m mesh in FSX yesterday, but only Hawaii and parts of the continental U.S. A little while ago, I flew from Princess Juliana to St. Barth's and then
SABA. Princess Juliana was fine, but St. Barth's and SABA had problems. At St. Barth's, the runway and taxiway were elevated about 100' above where they are supposed to be and ai aircraft and cars were down below. At
SABA, parts of the terrain were elevated about 100' with the buildings, runway, etc. visible down below in the holes where the terrain had not been elevated. You can still land at St. Barth's, though tricky, but SABA is now
impossible. I have not flown to or from St. Barth's and SABA since I got FSX until now and I have not added any scenery anywhere near that area. Both airports are normal in my freeware only install. The problems exist
only in my payware install of FSX. The US mesh is by Wayne Evans and the Hawaii Mesh by Lance Tucker and I got them in the FSX Terrain Mesh oldest files from our server. I think it was on page 99. I even temporarily
removed them, but no change. Any ideas?
