Hi,
Its been a while since i've done this and most probably neglecting something simple. Ok i go to add some freeware scenery into FSX. I install it into addon scenery, then go to add the area in fsx, when i click on the ok button after highlighting the foler, all it does is come up with the scenery and texture subfolders. as such i cant add any scenery.

At that point when you see the Scenery & Texture folders, is when you want to click the Ok button.
Then it should update the scenery database.

ok no amount of clicking is doing the trick. all it does is highlights the directory area next to the ok button.
Fresh install of FSX with only a few addons installed. Running windows 7

Is your FSX installed in the default location, or a custom location?

Then that eliminates the most obvious cause, Win7 & Vista sometimes have issues with adding anything if it's installed in the default location.
Do you have a link to the scenery so I can check it out further?
