Turbulence

My taste for realism varies, but I always fly with turbulence turned off. Why do I still get it when I use real world weather?

When you are using real weather upper level winds are loaded as well. The last FS you could choose to load or not load upper level winds was 2002.

Thanks. I just thought turning off turbulence would stop it all, but guess I need to stop downloading the upper level winds if I don't want it.

yeah, if your "download winds aloft with real world weather" is checked, you will still get turbulance Above i think ~20,000.  Just uncheck it and you should get the all the clouds, but no wind.
