Haven't had this problem until today. I was adding a texture to the aircraft cfg. file; when I wanted to save *it now wants to save as * then says I'm not authorized.
Anyone had this problem.
Running Windows 7 FSX Accelerator.

Yes, I believe this is because of User Account Control on Vista.
Is there UAC on Windows 7? If so, turning it off should solve the problem.
If not than you can just save the file as "aircraft2.cfg" and then delete the original aircraft.cfg and then rename "aircraft2.cfg" to "aircraft.cfg".

Hope this helps ;D

Might try this to get it to run as administrator.
Click start, all programs, games(not ms games),
right click on ms flight sim x, click run as administrator , ok
Hope this helps with your issue
