Karol Chlebowski's mod is superb and easy to install.However after playing the game for an indeterminate period for no obvious reason the external view of the player's a/c disappears completely. AI and static a/c are still visible, the a/c can  still be  flown from the vitual and 2d cockpits! This is not cofined to the F111 but all a/c one cares to choose in the game. I reinstalled the game and it played normally for a short period of time then the 'bug' reappeared.Need help thanks. [smiley=undecided.gif]

Barley has your problem been resolved?
I have not heard of the aircraft visuals disappearing , I use FSX acceleration , however the aircraft works in both FSX and FS2004 , there are different versions , but that is only to do with instruments contained in the panel folder.You stated that the same was happening with other aircraft .
Can you give more detail about the circumstances leading up to your problem ?

Barley , is it possible that you may have switched on the green  'VUE'  button  on the panel .
As stated in the flight manual that switch functions as a 'Stealth' switch and when selected the aircraft disappears , the navigation and rotating beacon remain visible .
Try switching the VUE button off .
The  F-111 Pig HUD package is definitely FSX compatible .

Dear Fellow Members, Sorry to waste your time but as Karol so helpfully suggested I did have the stealth button activated ! Did not arrive at this conclusion until I had fully read and understood the manual. Thanks for the feedback and happy flying!

Barley , glad that its resolved .
Its definitely a problem when there are a lot of buttons ,
however those buttons provide a rich selection of options .
