POSKY 777 and panels

I've spent about four hours trying to get POSKY 777 textures and panels going in FSX. My frustration level is increasing by the minute at this point.   I downloaded various fsx 777s complete posky with panels from simvatiaion, but all of them show up with white panels and textures.  Some of them don't even show up in available ac.  I finally found a 2d panel, but EICAS doesn't show up, yet it appears to be in the panel.cfg as 777!EICAS.  I even found Meljet redone for fsx on flightsim.com, but it too has white textures.  The panel is there, but kind of ugly.  Are there any that just work with FSX and that don't need any sort of fussing around?   :-[

I suspect these are all FS9 aircraft. To fix the white textures you might like to try switching off DirectX 10 Preview from FSX Display settings.

Indeed it does sound like you possibly have DX10 preview mode on. Uncheck that and give it a try. If that fails, go here and download this 777. It comes with everything you need, just follow a few simple instructions.

ahhh thanks, what a difference that makes.

There's one problem, I cannot see any numbers on the AP or radios.  Also, the buttons or switches for the AP don't work either.  It seems the VC is just a little eye candy and you have to use a 2D panel instead?

I cant find the Direct X thing. I went to setting, display, and then there are a bunch of stuff, and I cant find it.

And does anyone know why in my B777 cockpit, there small screen displaying the heading, attitude etc doesn't work? There are no buttons... also...
