Almost all of my planes say they use a water effect called fx_spray.I don't have this effect. Was it default? It's possible
that I could have deleted it accidently. Can anyone help me out?

Yes, that's a default effect. If you think you deleted it, check your windows "recycle bin", and if you haven't emptied it recently, it should still be there. If it is, just "right click" and choose "restore".
Otherwise, you might be abe to restore it by using the "repare" option with your FSX disks.

Have you checked the Effects folder in FSX to see if the file is still there ?
If it is,do you have the Special Effects Detail slider set high enough ?

"Repair" caused the program to have a fatal error on start up....every....single....time

Good thing I made a back up

Every time you run Repair, you have to run it off the base disks
and Acceleration so that doesn't happen.
Also, if you don't mind, if you PM me your e-mail I'll sent fx_spray right over.

That's what I thought would be the easiest thing to do

It's allright though.I snagged the effect out of the FSX original folder before I restored my back-up.I've got spray now, thanks anyway.I appreciate it
