When you install FSX back on to your reformatted HD that will load the default FSX traffic bgl, so you do not have to worry about that.

If you have installed some kind of payware addon traffic program like MyTrafficX then all of that AI will be installed when you load that program, so you do not have to worry about that.

If you have installed some kind of freeware traffic programs you should just reinstalled those from the original files.

If you have installed some kind of freeware traffic programs and you no longer have the original files then most traffic bgl's can be found at

Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery

Most of mine are in the file format of trafficxxxxxxx.bgl

One thing though, for some freeware traffic programs you also need the ai aircraft folder that came with them and these are found in your

Microsoft Flight Simulator X\simobjects\airplanes folder

If you have a major freeware program like WOIA, then I expect that there should be WOIA folders that you can save, reload them in FSX and see if it works, if not then you will need to delete all of them and reload WOIA.  With that said in my opinion you would be better off reloading everything from scratch rather than trying to reload folders and hoping it works.
