Warwick Carter T-6 Texan - Brake problem

Hi all,
I am enjoying flying this great A/C but I have a problem with differential braking, or rather, I have no right braking at all and the left brake seems to operate as a non-differential brake, with no turning effect at all. The V.C. toe brakes graphics respond correctly, but with no braking action at all from the right pedal.
I am using Saitek Pro rudder pedals assigned and calibrated using FSUIPC4, which operates correctly with all of my other payware and freeware A/C.
I would greatly appreciate some advice as to what the problem might be caused by (possibly something stupid on my part), but despite extensive checking of assignment and calibration etc. I can't locate the cause.
Thanks in anticipation of your help.
Bill

Thanks jlab58 for taking the trouble to respond.
I can't see any reference to brakes in the read me file; I think you may be thinking of the Ants tiger moth. The graphics in T-6 VC show differential brakes operating.
If you can think of anything else, I would like to hear from you.
Thanks again.

Bill,
In the aircraft.cfg file, the brake map for the right gear (point.2) is wrong. Change the 1 to a 2 as follows.
[contact_points]
......
.....
point.2= 1, 2.270, 4.300, -6.15, 1875, 2,...............
To increase the effectivness of differential braking, in the [brakes] section play with the 'differential_brake_scale=0.50'.

Dave, you've made my day!
Problem solved plus some further helpful advice; thank you.
I would never have figured this out by myself as I had no understanding of [contact-points] and still don't, however I would like to improve my knowledge if possible. Is there any literature on the subject that you could recomend to me which would assist?
By the way I'm on Eastern Australian time, so a fair time difference with N.W.

Bill,
If you have the SDK installed you can open the 'fsxsdk.chm' file. You'll find a section on 'Aircraft Configuration Files' that will explain all entries in the 'aircraft.cfg' file.
If you don't have the SDK you can view the same info here-
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526949(v=MSDN.10).aspxAlso, you can view the aircraft.cfg file of any default aircraft and you'll find notation explaining many of the entries, including notation above the [contact_points] for that section.

Dave,
I do have SDK installed but have never attempted to look at it, believing that I would only get myself into trouble, given my ignorance of the workings of the program. However, following your advice, I will approach it with enthusiasm(not too recklessly though, I hope).
Thanks again,
Bill
