i suddenly remembered various criticisms about the ace's team and fsx, and i now look at some of the incredible screenshots of scenery and planes, in fsx....i have to say that the platform created by aces and microsoft, was pretty amazing....and i take my hat off to them...even at the risk of sunburn.....
i7-7700k ....msi geforce gtx 1060....msi z270 gaming m5 lga 1151 motherboard....CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) ram.....

The problem with the naysayers is that, I don't think they have had the pleasure of simming with FS98, cause you got to admit the graphics were horrible back then, but it was a good flying sim when you think about it, remember that first landing at Megis field? And the one thing that FS98 was really good for was learning how to fly VOR & NDB, no stinking GPS! ;D. But just like any hobby the more you put into it the more you get out of it. From 98, I went to 2002, WOW what a differance :o. Next it was onto our beloved 2004 or affectionately known as FS9. And along came this monster called FSX! My pc shouldn't even be running FSX, but if you read NickN's advice and all the other great info you get off this site, well the proof is in the pudding as they say:Image

Just a shot of Hawaii cruising the islands in my Jenny I imported from FS9.
