FSX on Raptor

I have recently purchased a new 150GB Raptor HD and now Im unsure where I should install my system and my fsx.

If I have my Windows 7 installed on my standard 250GB 7200rpm HD, then I install FSX on its own on the 150GB 10000rpm HD, would that give me the results I expect from a raptor in FSX or would I need my system to be installed on a raptor too?

FSX only on the Raptor.

After you get everything installed including any addons that you have and you are sure that everything is working, then defrag both your OS and FSX drives.

Ok that is reasuring to know that I dont have to spend anymore money. I have FS global aswell, would that be ok to allocate its files to the standard 7200rpm "C" Drive in order to save space on the Raptor Hard drive which FSX is installed to

That is a question that you should ask on the FS Global forums, assuming that they have that kind of support.

I do not use this as a terrian mesh, I use FS Genesis and FS Genesis has to go into the main FSX folder and I would suppose that FS Global would have to do the same.

So the answer to your question is "I do not think so!"
