RE: viewing problem

I have owned every Microsoft Flight Sim version and loved them all but I can't for the life of me understand why Microsoft removed the ability to adjust your view in FSX by hitting the shift-enter/shift-backspace. I can't see anything unless I have the virtual panel view on. If I just use the 2D panel I can't see when coming in for a landing most of the time, unless I do a really sharp approach and big flair. So as a result I have to make sure any planes that I look for to download have a VC. And there are alot of great planes that don't have them. Does anybody else agree with me? I know depending on the panel type and plane some you can see and bring them down for a nice landing. I love the VC anyway and prefer to use it cause you feel like you right there in the cockpit but I think they were crazy for changing that. What were they thinking. anybody else agree with me?

No. The "problem" is failure to read the Learning Center's help files...

To move your eyepoint in the 2d panel view, use the Ctrl-Q and Ctrl-Shift-Q key commands. It takes about 1 second for movement to begin.

The change was required to enable the new camera view system.

In the VC view, Ctrl-Enter and Ctrl-Backspace work as before.

OK. Thank You I did not know that, and yes your right about the not reading part. I have not looked over all the reading material. But not everybody has the time to read about all the new and old things that FSX has to offer. I guess thats why they have the forum here, so people can get answers to things they are not sure of. Again Thank You. :)
