I figured out how to lower the winch on the side of the EH-101, but how do you lower the sling on the bottom?

Thanks!

Yea its only in missions and theres no way to raise/lower it. Think of it as the ground crew putting it on just before the mission. There isn't a cable stored there.

Hi Folks

Slingloading is not just for missions.

It'll work from saved flights in free-flight mode.

The liftable object's positioning data is held in an xml file.
That xml file is called by your saved flt file.

The xml positioning file is created using the
FSX SDK's Object Placement Tool (OPT),
(the tool used for designing missions or placing scenery).

Please take a look at the Proof of Concept - Sample
From - Slingloads in the Sandbox

This test package contains the following files -
- 1 object placement xml, (43 objects).
- 2 off modified aircraft.cfgs, (B206 & EH101).
- 3 off test flights at EGNL Walney.
