Something wrong with FSX

Postby steelerspilot » Thu Feb 04, 2010 6:39 pm

When I try to load FSX a fatal error message comes up.  I don't understand it, and I was wondering if someone could help me.  Please help, and if you think you can help, I will post my error messages on here.

I think this might have happened to me before, what add-ons have you installed lately?

You might like to try deleting fsx.cfg. Back it up first if you've done any tweaking.

what does that do

Resets all your settings back to default. It's a cure for all sorts of problems.

maybe a folder got deleted

That sounds possible. Have you looked in the location in the error message?

Are you sure? The Owner in the path will be your user name.
