couldn't find in search...just curious as to what causes the occasional white flash while flying in spot view....(no light bloom)

I've noticed that very occasionally too when I have bloom effects turned on. It seems to just be a rogue split-second bloom glitch. It usually only happens to me once and then doesn't occur again for quite a long time.

I don't have bloom turned on but I often see it when I approach an airport from a far distance. I think it happens when the level of detail dynamically changes.

I have experienced the same issue.  However, disabling "Show Cockpit Tools" in the Aircraft's tab fixed it.
