Framerate hit from posky 777

Has anyone experienced a framerate hit when flying the posky 777? I have other hires aircraft like Thomas Ruth's A330 and A340 for example, that have no negative effects on performance. Even when inside the 777 VC (which is how I normally fly), the framerate drops by about 30%.
Also, why do so many people rave about this aircraft? I find that most of the overhead controls are not active. To me, this is very disappointing. I like to manually control the fuel pumps, de-icing heaters, APU, elevator trim, etc.

Have you tried the iFly 747? It has all the goodies you mentioned, and more!

Last time I checked the 777 (removed it afterwords), it really hit my frame rates.
I guess this is because of the complex, detailed textures (both interior and outerior).

It's because it's a FS9 plane.
Planes in FS9 format usually have a very big impact on the performance. The same plane in native FSX format would have a very limited impact.

Thank you all for your quick response. I am definitely removing the posky 777, as I don't consider this a "value add" model based what I have seen and the information you have shared.
Also, thank you adkleaddog for your tip about the iFly 747. Though I have not yet downloaded it, I looked into it and believe it might be exactly what I'm looking for.

Including the 300-plus page ops manual! I DO like this aircraft, it even runs great on this s-l-o-w system!
