Well, the textures are both FSX and FS9 compatible, so when you download the texture, replace the model, with the FSX version ( it will have FSX> in front of it ). The model has to have the same code, otherwise it will not work.

Thanks.  I see now the fs9 and fsX designations in the models download section of the 747-400s.  What is baffling me is that when I downloaded the fsX model files, all I get are a model and a panel, then the Readme file says to "Install the FS2004's 747V4A Aircraft  to FSX".  I cannot even locate a 747V4A in 747-400 fs9 model downloads.

This is one reason I avoid POSKY's website.  Their downloads are too complicated for my simple mind, I guess.

You don't have a simple mind, you might not be a modeler or programmer. Its easy for them because they created it,and then tear you down in the support forum when you cant figure out why you're 747 v4 don't show up in game after you up date the fde,or why my 747 sp bounces all over the tarmac like a dead chickin,or how to get the 777's engine speed to stop oscillating up and down after takoff,or during approach with the auto throttle on.
