I've downloaded Mike Stone's GV, together with the FSX update from Bob Chicilo, but have three problems:

Sounds like you're simply experiencing compatibility issues with an old FS9 aircraft in FSX. You may be able to fix the gauges, but not sure about the rest

The original GV download from Mike Stone was intended for FS2004, so should 'probably' work in FSX, but surely the Chicilo FSX update should make it ok for FSX?

As a relative newby I'm more concerned whether I've missed anything obvious about installing the aircraft in the FSX directory. I've (hopefully) followed the readme.texts faithfully, but is there anything that the symptoms would indicate I have missed?

Has anyone else installed this GV in FSX?

thanks in anticipation.

I've just checked this out. The only FSX update I can find is a modified AIR file & Aircraft.cfg. Nothing to do with the panel but could possibly explain the jumpy nose-wheel. The panel in Mike Stone's original uses the FS9 default 737-400.gau which I don't think is included with FSX. I suspect this is the cause of your missing gauges.

PS. I just found the Bob Chicilo update (gulf5uXA.zip). His modified Panel.cfg still requires that FS9 default gauge.
