GPS Panel Problem

I have downloaded a few freeware planes and a couple of them have a problem with the GPS not displaying properly. They have the button in the cockpit (sattelite dish) to display the GPS but when I click it I just get a black box with the little GPS airplane in the middle of it with no bezel or terrain showing. This is happening with the F-16 and the Goshawk. For every other plane the GPS shows just fine. Any ideas how to fix it? If you need a pic to see what it looks like I can post one. Thanks in advance for the help

I managed to fix the problem on my own woohoo! I'll post my solution so that if anyone else has the same problem they can learn from me (hopefully) haha.
To fix this issue go to the panel.cfg file in the aircrafts panel folder and open it. You should see code toward the top that looks like this:
[Window Titles]
Window00=Main Panel
Window01=RHPanel
Window02=Throttle Console
Window03=GPS
Window04=PFD
Window05=HUD
Note that Window03 is the GPS for this plane. Other planes may have the GPS window numbered differnt so be sure you go to the proper [Window#] section when you scroll down. Now, for this example, you are going to scroll down until you find the [Window03] section. Once you find it all thats left is find the section that is labeled [Window03] copy and paste this code and now you will have a working GPS:
//--------------------------------------------------------
[Window03]
Background_color=128,128,128
size_mm=512
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=3
visible=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
window_size= 0.400, 0.400
window_pos= 0.000, 0.600
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,513,513
Remember that you must make sure that [Window#] must match the window number for the GPS specified at the top of the document. Hope this helps!

I don't have this problem but I am currious. What actually was the CAUSE? Were there incorrect entries in the "window03" section? Was something missing?
