Hello guys, after installed new aircrafts and rotorcrafts into my FSX the names that appears under the aircraft thumbnail is a big mess. They are all changed, different names on other acft's.
Can some one here help me how to get it back in place.
Thanks,
Pedrosa.

as long that your new airplanes and helicopters are safe somewhere, the fastest way to me would be to uninstall and reinstall the game completly.

No need to do that..

There's a really simple fix, I think one of the aircraft you installed has caused this. Unfortunately I've never had this problem so I can't tell you or remember the fix.

Hopefully someone will stop by soon who remembers how to fix it.  :-/

I've got the same problem. I just read the name, instead of clicking on the picture.

I had something similar as well not long ago. The names and images of planes and helos didnt mtch, they were off by about two or three planes. What I did was uninstall the freeware aircrafts one by one, from the latest I installed to the earliest. It was the second helicopter down the list, the Bell 412 with bambi bucket I believe.  :)

I had the same issue some time ago and it is most probably caused by one aircraft with a compatibility issue.  Try removing your addon aircraft one at a time until the select aircraft display is back to normal.  When you have found the offending add on, you can dig into that aircraft to determine the problem.  In the future, when you install add ons, it is good practice to install one add on at a time and test fly immediatly after installation.  In that way, if there is a problem, you know which add on is the culprit.

This little problem is caused by one or more of your addon aircraft having FS9-style Aircraft.cfg entries. (They will probably also be missing thumbnails in their Texture folders.)

This is easily fixed if you know what to look for. Open the Aircraft.cfg of one of the FSX default aircraft to use as a reference. This is the [fltsim.0] section for the default Air Creation ultralight.

[fltsim.0]
title= Aircreation582SL Blue
sim=Aircreation_582SL
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
kb_checklists=Aircreation582SL_check
kb_reference=Aircreation582SL_ref
ui_manufacturer="AirCreation"
ui_type= "Trike Ultralight"
ui_variation="Yellow"
ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"

Note that all the ui_xxxx= entries are in quotes " ". Adding the quotes should fix it. You must do it to all variations of the aircraft.
