FSX dll File

Postby B-Valvs » Sat Dec 05, 2009 10:06 am

I'm having a problem with the FSX Deluxe dll file. When I open it, the only thing there is FS Recorder, and if I add anything to it, the addon bar does not show up in the sim anymore. It's really annoying I can't use any of the goodies that come with FSX Deluxe or any addons (AI Carriers;used to have it installed, can't put it back now) that use this feature.

Any help is appreciated.

Well first have you tried uninstalling all in the add on file thingy?

Also you can use AI carriers without the Add on menu.
You just have to use the manual install(how i use to have two instances of AI carriers running at a time :)

That's part of it, but that's not really the point. I can't use any of the features that come with FSX such as the object placer.

I had somewhat the same problem - and tore out what little hair I have left trying to fix it - to no avail.

Then I discovered this excellent post:

http://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.p ... _%28FSX%29

I followed all the instructions and now it works like a charm -no problem adding other items to my dll.xml file.

The root cause of my problem was the bad SDK which shipped with the Deluxe edition.
