Moving Sound Files Around

Postby westside » Tue Dec 01, 2009 1:11 pm

I have wondered if it is possibble to moe sound files from one aircraft to another.  I have a freeware version of a 737 that has way better sounds than the default version and just wanted to know if this is possible?

yea and yes...I do it all the time...if you want to revert to the default sounds keep a back up...

all you need to do is copy the "sound" folder from the plane you want the sounds from (right click and hit COPY) and then navagate to the other plane that is going to recieve the "new" sounds (your default plane in this case and then when in that planes folder (b-737 for example) you should see folders there, sounds, model, panel, etc while in that MAIN aircraft folder (b-737) right click on the open white space and hit PASTE, if asked to overwrite files hit YES and then close that folder

then once thats done, start up your flight sim and load the c-737 (default Boeing 737 or what ever plane your using)
