I have in the same Pc W7 ult. 64 y XP 32.
In both environment I have installed FSX with indentical configuration.

How is posible that in XP I get more Frame rate that in W7 (a third more) ?

I would like to answer your question but I am in the very first step of this, I just wonder how did you nstall fsx under a dual boot system like this and the problems that would it bring up.
I assume the files for FSX are in different folders under different OSes.
My question is more primitive and perhaps may start an answer for you, first, how did you create your dual boot with Xp32 and W7 x64 (a partition on a same HD?, a second HD?, do you use utilities like Acronis DD? etc.) and how can you configure (install) FSX under different OS environments on the same pc? having that it installs the folders in different places for each OS as far as I know (and worst when you install addons)
Hope this start to move your questions, and if I repeat your config we can find a reply here.
I would appreciatte how you built it and your specs.

Well, I assume that you installed DirectX 10 on your Windows 7 System? I'd say the prime suspect in this case is:

FSX runs on DirectX 9.0c on your Win XP OS.
FSX runs on DirectX 10.0 on your Win 7 OS.

From what I've picked up in the forums, FSX performance differs between DX9 and DX10. You getting more FPS in WinXP (with DX9) fits the picture.

You didn't mention where you also use the Acceleration add-on pack or Service Pack 2 with your FSX. IIRC, both add DX10 effects to FSX, which will affect the FPS rate as well. (See some amazon.com or .co.uk review on that.)

So there is not any problem.

I don't have marked the prewiew DX10 in FSX.
I have the Acceleration pack installed.
I don
