Minimum zoom

The most zoom-out we can get by default is .30.  I'm fooling around with the VC and Widescreen resolutions and does anyone know if you can disable this restriction and zoom out even farther?

I don't think it's possible, but I couldn't stand a view less than .30.  I don't have a big screen, so I can't see detail at low zoom.
