I have just downloaded the latest RAAf Super hornet for fsx from simvation but am still having trouble, as the cockpit canopy in the vc is still black with the area covered by the hud transparent (as it should be). Does anyone have any suggestions? As it said in the read me that this version was sup post to fix the black texture in the cockpit. I am using fsx deluxe with acceleration and have tried reversing the alpha channel of every single texture to see if that

Unfortunately, it seems that this aircraft will keep the opaque canopy for some users, no matter how you try to fix it (DXTBMP or not). There's simply no solution that I know about. I have myself fixed already a lot of FS9 aircrafts with opaque canopies to make them transparent again, successfully. But when it comes to this precise Super Hornet, there was no luck. It works on my computer, it doesn't work for some other members of this forum.

I have the same problem with the Wilco airbus (it seems to happen to some users in Vista 64 or Windows 7 there).

Would be interested in a solution as well.
